Senator Smart Adeyemi (APC/Kogi West) has assured residents of speedy completion of construction of Odo Ere – Igbaruku – Iyamerin road in Yagba West local government area of Kogi state.
Speaking with newsmen in Abuja on Thursday, Senator Adeyemi said the virgin road will boost economic activities of the communities when completed.
He stated that the road was one of his campaign promises in 2019 and he is happy that construction work has commenced.
The construction work awarded to Benue River Basin was facilitated by Senator Smart Adeyemi.
Senator Adeyemi said he will do his best for his constituents and will not compromise the dignity of his people for any reason.
“Every community in Kogi West deserves a better, improved standard of living. I will remain committed to this cause without fear. God is the judge of all who have the mandate to serve our people,” he said.
Senator Adeyemi confirmed that the road project will get funding till June 2023.
