Hajia Habibat Ahmed Ododo, mother of the Kogi State Governor, paid a surprise visit to the Onyi Ododo Forum in New Zango, Adavi Local Government Area, during its weekly meeting today.
The arrival of the Governor’s mother brought immense joy and celebration to both the residents and the members of the Onyi Ododo Forum.
The mother of the Governor has donated ₦1.5 million and clothes toward another phase of employment. Furthermore, she charged members of the forum to mobilize en masse and pick up their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), following the commencement of the distribution exercise by INEC on the 9th of this month.
The Governor’s mother appreciated the Kogi State Accountant General, Dr. Chief Hajia Habitat Onumoko, for allocating five political appointments to her forum, saying that her tenure would be a successful one.
The Chairman of the Onyi Ododo Forum, Mallam Musari Salawu, expressed his deep gratitude to the Governor’s mother, Hajia Habibat Ahmed Ododo, for her care toward the people.
Mallam Musari expressed his appreciation to the Governor’s mother for the financial support aimed at sustaining her continuous empowerment initiative, which helps boost the businesses of the forum’s members.
The Chairman of stakeholders applauded the Governor’s mother for her philanthropy toward humanity, praying that Allah grant her long life and protection in all her endeavors.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Adavi East Constituency, Hon. Muhammed I. Aliyu (Wazo), praised Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his inclusive governance and commended the Accountant-General of Kogi State, Hajia Habibat Tijani Onumoko, for facilitating political appointments for members of the Onyi Ododo Forum.
Hon. Wazo lauded the Governor’s mother for her frequent empowerment of the forum, urging the beneficiaries to use the funds judiciously and advising others to be patient, as they will gradually be carried along in the next phase.
One of the beneficiaries of the empowerment programme, Mallam Haruna Akambi, commended the leadership of the forum for their transparency in running its affairs, praying on behalf of the Onyi Ododo Forum that God would provide more resources for the Governor’s mother.
