Gov. Bello is Working Hard to Give Kogi People Portable Water – Asuku Ishaq

A leading Adavi constituency House of Assembly aspirant, Ishaq Asuku Iliyashas praised Governor Yahaya Bello his relentless efforts to ensure the people of the state have access to portable water.
Asuku, who stormed the venue of the flag-off of the rehabilitation of Okene Waterworks with his supporters, described the waterworks rehabilitation as an important project in Kogi central senatorial district.
The engineer, who spoke at the flag off on the network extension of water distribution to Okeneba and Idiche, said residents of the community will have access to portable water upon completion of the project.
While addressing his supporters at the flag-off, Ishaq Asuku said, “today we’re holding a significant occasion which is very historical to the development of ebiraland because water is life and nobody survives without it. This is why Governor Bello led New Direction administration places premium on the interest and well being of the people and believes that water, not just water but portable water is made available for all.
“The project is part of government effort to curb the menace of water scarcity in the land and increase operational efficiency of water flow capacity to meet the demand for water and contribute to development. It is a demonstration of governments appreciation of the cooperation and support of the residents and the entire Ebira community have given the new direction government.”
He pleaded with the people to have faith in the government of Alhaji Yahaya Bello assuring that the year 2018 holds great promise for Kogites.
