Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has congratulated the Trade Union Congress for its successful Triennial Delegate Conference and the emergence of new officials to pilot the affairs of the Council for the next three years.
The Governor hailed the peaceful manner the transition was conducted in which the officials emerged unopposed, calling on the new leadership of the Council to join hands with the present administration in ensuring a more efficient, productive, dedicated and disciplined public service in the state.
Alh. Bello reiterated the determination of his administration in collaborating with the organized labour to improve the standards of living of Kogi people. He also pledged to improve the working conditions of public servants in the state to bring out the best in them, urging the new leadership under Comrade Ojo Ranti Matthew to work towards achieving industrial stability for the progress of the state.
