President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has announced 26 new appointments into 10 Federal Government agencies and commissions.
In a statement issued on Monday by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Tosin Johnson Adeyanju, who was previously appointed as the Executive Secretary of the National Lottery Trust Fund (NLTF), has now been moved to the Revenue Mobilisation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) as Secretary.
RMAFC, a federal agency, makes rules and guides how the country collects and shares money among the federal, state, and local governments.
As the Secretary, Adeyanju, who hails from Ayere, Ijumu local government of Kogi state, helps manage the day-to-day work, meetings, and official papers of the commission.
President Tinubu made eight other appointments to the National Salary and Wages Commission, with Major General Junaid Bindawa as chairman. Former member of the House of Representatives from Lagos, Olajumoke Okoya-Thomas, is the new secretary of the commission. Dr Ogbole Ene Lilian, Oladele Olatubosun, and Yakubu Umar Barde, representing Benue, Oyo and Kaduna, were appointed as commissioners.
Dr Mai Adamu Yau, from Borno, Ginika Florence Tor (Enugu), Engineer Lawrence Okoh(Edo) and Bello Morenike Iyabode (Kogi) were appointed as members of the Commission.
