Okene Council Chairman Continue to Receive Groups, Associations on Courtesy Visit

In what could be described as an untiring display of overwhelming love, grassroots support and solidarity, the Chairman of Okene Local Government Chairman, Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad has continue to receive different groups, clubs and associations on courtesy visits. They came to identified with him and assure him of their cooperation and support in all areas of governance.

First on the roll were members of Ohindase ruling house led by their Chairman, Hon. Usman Okorongo. They came to deliver good will message from His Royal Highness, the Great Ohindase of Okengwe. The committee on behalf of the royal fathers and people of Okengwe kingdom congratulate the Council Chairman on his return to office and assure him of their continue cooperation and support.

The next were the elders of Oziogu clan who came to express happiness on the return of their son back to office as the Executive Chairman of Okene Local Government. They appreciate the kind consideration of the governor and wished the chairman a peaceful tenure in office.

Ehebe Women Association also came calling on a day the chairman has set aside to acknowledge and receive the people of Okene Local Government. The women praised the wisdom of Gov. Yahaya Bello to have returned the council chairman back to office. They described the decision as divinely inspired for peace and progress of the local government.

Market men and women also stormed the office of the chairman for a solidarity visit. The traders accompanied by their leaders offered prayers for Hon. Abdulrazaq led administration in Okene. They requested the chairman to commission basic utility projects constructed by the traders in honour of Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad.

The Chairman crown the day in office holding a strategic meeting with his colleagues from other four Local Government Councils of Kogi Central.
