Senator Ahmed Ogembe has congratulated Muslims for the successful completion of the month-long Ramadan fast.
In a statement, Ogembe thanked all Muslims in Kogi central senatorial district who seized the opportunity provided by the season of Ramadan to pray for greater peace, security, and progress of Kogi central senatorial district and Nigeria as a whole.
“In the spirit of Eid – el- Fitr, I want to urge Muslims and non-Muslims alike, to maintain the spirit and lessons of Ramadan and ensuring it reflection to promote peace and selfless services to those who are downtrodden and displaced, to embrace diversity, and to show compassion to everyone within our neighbourhood,” he said.
Senator Ogembe expresses happiness in the strong and hamorneous relationships between Muslims in Ebira land and people of other faith urging for sustenance.
He congratulated Muslim faithfuls saying “having had the period of prayers, deep reflection and re-dedication during the month of Ramadan, it is my hope that beyond this time, we will continue to pray for the security, peace and progress of our land and our nation”.
