The Kogi State governor elect, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has promised the people that his development plans will be spread across the three senatorial districts.

The governor elect, in a statement issued by his media aide, Suleiman Abdulmalik, said he is governor for the entire state and not for a section of the state.

He said every part of the state would feel the impact of the incoming administration.

Abdulmalik stated that the Bello administration would give priority to education, health, job creation, road construction, housing, and security among others in line with the All Progressives Congress (APC) manifesto and President Muhammadu Buhari’s vision.

The governor-elect thanked the people of the state for voting for him and his party in the just concluded governorship election.

“I commend the entire campaign council in the state that made our victory possible, thereby ending the long years of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) misrule.

“May the soul of our icon leader, Prince Abubakar Audu rest in peace. Late Audu is Kogi and Kogi is Audu.  When I am sworn in, I will immortalise him. My government shall name very important institutions after him in the state,” he said.
