The Rector, Kogi State Polytechnic, Dr. Salisu Ogbo Usman, has described the Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor, Pharmacist Abdulkarim Jamiu Asuku, as servant leader who discharged his duties with effortless humility.

In a congratulatory message he personally signed, the Rector said the auspicious occasion of Asuku’s birthday on Sunday deserves celebration.

Dr Salisu expressed gratitude to the Chief of Staff for making his job as a Rector easy with his “soft touch of benevolence.”

“On behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Staff and Students of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, I wish to felicitate with the Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor, Pharmacist AbdulKarim Jamiu (Asuku), on the auspicious occasion of his birthday celebration.

“Our Dear Chief of Staff, this milestone deserves celebrations from all well meaning souls, judging from the remarkable uniqueness of your conduct as a person and as a public servant. From you, we learn that it is possible to be simple, humble and still do the job, no matter how tasking, with admirable ease and firmness.

“Even with the unassuming posture clearly evident in your effortless humility, signs of endearing greatness are always there for all to see and emulate.

“While we celebrate your steady rise in age and the wisdom that goes with it, we will continue to adore, appreciate and emulate your commitment to duty and love for the advancement of human dignity.

“As you mark another birthday in the temporary absence of your beloved Mum, we know how disturbing and depressing it can be having such thought flowing ceaselessly in your mind. However, our sincere wish and prayers is for our dear mother to regain her freedom from her abductors, strong, healthy and unconditionally. May God continue to bless, protect, uplift and fulfil you beyond expectations,” he said.
