Kogi governorship aspirant, Alhaji Muhammed Shaibu Tetes has been honoured with an awarded by the National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS) for his contributions to education and youths development.
The NANS award was presented to Tetes by Comrade Abdulrashid Tajudeen of the University of Abuja at his retirement thanksgiving and presentation of his autobiography.
Tetes expressed delight and stated that the award will further strengthen his commitment to youth development and education.
“I feel great and I believe this award will strengthen us to work harder for our people, especially the young men and women in their quest to acquire knowledge and build themselves academically.
“I am highly impressed by the student’s performance, they are doing well and we will keep on supporting them,’’ he said.
