A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Tunde Ogbeha has called on Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello to pay salaries of civil servants and pensions.
In a chat with newsmen in Lokoja yesterday, the former Military Governor of Akwa-Ibom and old Bendel states, said civil servants and pensioners are suffering in Kogi state.
“We urge the governor, he should have that human milk in him, be compassionate and pay workers because he cannot say he does not have money. We are all witnesses that the bailout fund has been released, he should use it and clear our salaries. All this hiding behind screening will not help.
“Two, we think the government should conduct local government elections as soon as possible.
“Three, we have not seen any form of development across this state since this administration came on board. That means there is no good governance in Kogi State, and because there is no good governance in Kogi State, we will come back and re-establish good governance”, he said.
