In recognition of their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to service, the Commissioner of Police, Kogi State Command, CP Miller Dantawaye, on Wednesday, formally decorated three senior officers who have been promoted from the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP).
The newly promoted officers include: ACP Emmanuel Ojo, Area Commander Anyigba; ACP Peter Essien, and ACP Ali Anslem, AC Operations.



The decoration ceremony, which was held at the Kogi State Police Command Headquarters, was attended by senior officers, family members, and well-wishers, who gathered to celebrate this significant career milestone.
While addressing the newly promoted officers, CP Dantawaye congratulated them on their well-deserved promotion, emphasizing that their elevation is a recognition of their hard work, discipline, and dedication to duty. He urged them to see this new rank as a call to greater responsibility, leadership, and service to the nation.
He further encouraged them to approach their assignments with diligence and professionalism. He urged them to work with commitment, and cooperate effectively with the Command’s Management Team to enhance security and maintain law and order in the State.
The CP also charged the officers not to relent in their efforts, remain vigilant, and lead by example, stressing that no distress situation should arise from their jurisdictions under their watch.
