A mammoth crowd gathered as the Ebira Vaibe Group in Ozokutu, Adavi LGA, officially declared its support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) at its weekly grassroots meeting.
In his welcome address, the Chairman of Ozokutu New Layout, Mallam Dada Omolori, stated that the entire group is ready to vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the upcoming general elections. He also pleaded with Hon. Muhammed I. Aliyu (Wazo) to carry the group along if he emerges victorious at the polls.
Speaking at the meeting, the Nagazi Ward APC Youth leader, Sadiq K. Hussein commended Hon. Muhammed I. Aliyu (Wazo) for his prompt visit to the group, adding that this demonstrated he is a leader who will work with the grassroots and deliver the real dividends of democracy to his constituents.
In his contribution, the Ozokutu Central Community Chairman, Mallam M. J, described Hon. Wazo as a politician who was born and raised in Adavi LGA and knows the needs of the masses.
The women leader of the Ebira Vaibe Ozokutu Group, Madam Hawa Aliyu, commended the APC candidate for the Adavi East Constituency, Hon. Muhammed I. Aliyu (Wazo) for his exemplary leadership style.
She appealed to him to save the group’s members from the burden of LAPO loans and requested their inclusion in his empowerment program upon winning the upcoming election.
In his response, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Adavi East Constituency, Hon. Muhammed I. Aliyu (Wazo), lauded Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for creating an enabling environment for the citizens of Kogi State.
Hon. Muhammed Aliyu (Wazo) stated that a vote for former Governor Yahaya Bello for Senate and Hon. Mohammed Ahovi Yusuf for the House of Representatives (representing the Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency) in the general elections represents a victory for him and the entire constituency.
Hon. Wazo assured the group of Governor Ododo’s inclusive empowerment through the Accountant-General of Kogi State, Hajia Habibat Tijjani Onumoko, noting that her unwavering commitment and support for women across the state have elevated many lives.
