The Senior Special Assistant to Kogi State Governor on Industries and Productivity, Ogbeni Sunday David Oni, on Tuesday, replaced Mrs Comfort Jonah’s damaged wheel chair with a new one.

Speaking with our reporter in Lokoja yesterday, Oni said he was moved to act when he learnt about Comfort’s condition from a reliable source, Mr. Olanrewaju Gbenga.

He added that the decision to get the physically challenged mother of three was borne out of his avowed determination to emulate Governor Yahaya Bello’s kind heartedness towards people with special needs.

The new wheel chair was delivered to Comfort in Isanlu, Yagba East local government area of Kogi state, by Oni’s mother who was accompanied by Mr Olanrewaju Gbenga, Mr Dayo Barnabas and Mr. Jegede.

“I count it a privilege to fulfill this heart burning request; Mrs Comfort Jonah is from Itedo Makutu-Isanlu.

“Upon hearing the need of brand new wheel chair, as her previous one got spoilt beyond repair three days ago through Mr. Olanrewaju Gbenga, I keyed in to be a donor. Today, I am happy I got it fulfilled and a new wheel chair has been presented to her.

“A token of cash gift was also provided to enable her start a petty trade as I don’t want her to be a beggar. As God keep providing, I will definitely keep providing for her needs. This is my request before my God,” he said.

Ogbeni Sunday Oni expressed gratitude to Governor Yahaya Bello for giving him the platform and privilege to be of help towards humanity.
