Food Palliatives: LG Secretary lauds Ododo, SEMA Boss for Supporting Most Vulnerable in Okehi

Secretary Okehi local government of Kogi state, Hon. Matthew James Omeiza has lauded the state government and State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) for providing food palliatives to vulnerable in the state.

The Okehi Scribe gave the commendation on Friday at the distribution of food palliatives to the vulnerable persons in the local government at Obangede.

Hon. Matthew, who joined his boss, the Caretaker Chairman of Okehi, Hon. Amoka Monday Eneji (ODU), said the intervention would provide great relief for the people.

According to him, the food items which came in various batches since January will help to address the needs of the beneficiaries at this moment in time.

He urged the beneficiaries to be orderly as they collected the Food items and to effectively utilise them to boost their economic wellbeing.

He particularly commended the Executive Secretary of SEMA, Hon. Mouktar Atimah for his wisdom and proactiveness in channeling the food palliatives appropriately and timely to the people at the grassroot through the caretaker chairman together with the state food palliatives committees.

Hon. Matthew James Omeiza thanked President Bola Tinubu and the Kogi state government under the leadership of Governor Usman Ododo for their supports towards the implementation of the intervention to support the most vulnerable in the local government.
