Senator Sunday Karimi (APC-Kogi West) has called on Kogi state government to immediately commence work on Egbe – Ogbe road in Yagba West Local Council of the state for easy access.
He said the latest incidents of banditry and kidnapping in Yagbaland have reinforced his earlier case stating the need for state police.
The Senator consoled the families of the bereaved and the entire people of Ogbe community.
Some gunmen identified as Fulani on Friday reportedly murdered two active youths committed to community assignment around the general area of Oyi River before ascending Ogbe Town.
According to the Local Hunters spokesperson, “Necessary activities are in top gear presently. Ogbe Town needs our prayers and support at this critical period”.
