Chief Imam Galadima’s Death Monumental Loss to Ebiraland – Damisa

Member representing Okene/Ogori-Magongo federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Ahmed Tijani Yusuf Damisa has described the death of Chief Imam, Alh. Musa Galadima as a monumental loss to Ebira land.

Damisa made this known when he paid condolence visit to the family of the deceased in Okene on Saturday.

According to him: “the Muslim community had lost a great scholar who wealth of knowledge was a blessing to the Muslim community. This is really sad coming less than a month to the holy month of Ramadan.

“We here to condole with the family, the government and people of Okene and the entire Ebira over the sudden death of our father. His loss is no doubt a monumental loss to Ebira nation.

“Imam Galadima’s departure is both painful and shocking. But we take solace in the fact that he lived and died well. He dedicated his life to serving his people. He mixed freely with the underprivileged and lived substantially organizing for the upliftment of Muslims while making important contributions to the development of Islam and Ebiraland.

“Although, we cannot but grief over the death of this public spirited man, we are sure that Late Chief Imam Musa Galadima will long be remembered as a religious leader, community leader, an effective and consummate religion figure,” he said.

Receiving the reps member and his team, the son of the late Chief Imam, Sheikh Lukman Abuyatama expressed the family’s gratitude to Hon. Tijani Damisa and his entourage for standing by the family.
