BEBM Set To Unveil GYB Portrait Wall Tiles At 2nd Kogi Built Environment And Building Materials Exhibition In Lokoja

The Conveners of the 2nd Kogi Built Environment and Building Materials Exhibition, BEBM Exhibitions (RC 2441572) has announced that samples tiles to commemorate the just celebrated twenty fifth anniversary of the creation of Kogi state and that of the Portrait of Governor Yahaya Bello will be unveiled at the opening ceremony of the exhibition on Tuesday, 15th November,  2016.

 

 

The exhibition will take place at the Kogi state Children Amusement Park, Stadium road, Lokoja, Kogi state by 10am. The exhibition is focused on ‘Planning Enforcement, Sub-Standard Building Materials and Sanitation Challenge in Developing Cities’.

 

 

The event promises to be a gathering of tradesmen, professionals, policy makers, researchers, academics in the Built Environment Industry with over hundred building materials manufacturers in attendance.

 

 

According to the Media Officer of the Exhibition Mr. Moses Adedeji, the event will be declared open by the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello. Experts in the Built Environment Industry invited as keynote presenters includes; Prof. Danladi S. Matawal, Director General of National Building and Road Research Institute, Abuja; Engr. Joseph Garuba Anebi, Comptroller of Federal Fire Service, Abuja;  Mr Boss Gida Mustapha, Managing Director of National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) and Prof. Charles Inyangete, MD/ Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria Mortgage Refinance Company.

 

Contributing at the press parley, the Event Director, Builder Oladipo Makakese Bayode explained that these commemoratives tiles produced by the West African Ceramic Limited is one of the best in the world and would be produced in various sizes as 30 by 30, 30 by 60 and 60 by 60.

 

He particularly advised that as a show of respect to Kogi state, Building Construction projects within the twenty fifth year of the state be adorned with the Silver Jubilee floor tiles of various sizes.

 

He insisted that this will further show patriotism and our appreciation for having a state we can call our own. The GYB Portrait Wall tiles he said can be used as a decorative piece and show of support to the Governor’s New Direction Policy.

 

The Chief of Staff to Kogi state Governor, Hon. Edward Onoja was named as the Face Of The Exhibition. As Face of the Exhibition, he is the symbol of the event and expected to create mentorship and guidance for the event particularly at the opening ceremony during the official unveiling of the commemoratives tiles produced by the West African Ceramic Ltd.

 

The Exhibition is scheduled to hold between Tuesday  15th and Thursday  17th November, 2016 with Dangote Cement, BN Ceramics Nigeria Limited, West African Ceramics Limited – Producers of the Royal Tiles, Coleman Wires and Cables Limited and Jakura Marble Limited as key partners .
