Kogi State Commissioner of Police, Mr Besan Gwana has declared that his agenda in the state is to fight criminals and vandals across the state.
The Commissioner of Police who stated this in an interview with LEADERSHIP Sunday yesterday disclosed that he was posted to the state to ensure that criminals were chased away from the state completely.
“My agenda is to fight crime. I would energise the policemen on ground because they are foot-soldiers to ensure that they embark on patrol during the day and at night so that we can chase away criminals from the state”, he said.
While reacting to series of robbery and kidnapping in the state, Besan assured the general public that his men would leave no stone unturned to arrest and prosecute the suspects.
He said the criminals are not spirits they live with us eat with us stay in the same compound with us, it all depends on good information to the police to perform the constitutional duty of protecting life and property.
