The Asiwaju of Alu, Elder Leke Abejide has called on Muslim Ummah in Yagba Federal constituency to make love, justice and fairness their watchwords as they celebrate this year’s Sallah.
Abejide made the call while donating bags of rice to Muslims in Isanlu, Yagba East local government area of Kogi State on Thursday.
Represented by Hon. Timothy Emmanuel, Abejide congratulated Muslims in Yagba land on the successful completion of Ramadan fast.
He urged them to remain committed to the lessons learnt during the Holy Month.
Receiving the food items on behalf of the Isanlu Muslims Community, the Naib Imam, Alh Amusa Imamdeen, commended Abejide for his gift. He prayed that Allah bless his aspiration.
The foodstuff gifts from Elder Abejide were also delivered to Muslim faithfuls in Amuro, Mopa, Oke-Oyi, Area council and Egbe, all in Yagba Federal Constituency.
