For the third time in three academic sessions, the Senior Vice President of EDFOD LLC, Prince Elijah Ibinayin, has paid West African Examination Council (WAEC) registration fees for all senior secondary (SS3) students studying at Kabba Community High School, Kakun, Kogi State.
Ibinayin, a United States of America based philanthropist, released N546,000 on Saturday for the payment of 2023 WAEC fees.
The funds will offset examination costs for 21 students in his alma mater.
Reacting to the continued gesture, the chairman of KCHS old students association, Mr. Bayo Owoleke said it has become necessary to appreciate Prince Elijah Ibinayin for his timely intervention.
Owoleke said the students have been doing fantastically well in previous outing with brilliant WAEC results.
He stated further that the school won medal in some quiz competitions recently conducted.
He thanked all the executive members of the alma mater association for doing a wonderful work.
One of the exco members, Mr. Joshua Alori, said it has been a very big plus for the school with different initiatives brought up at different times to assist the students.
Mr. Matthew Ajigi, a close ally of Prince Elijah Ibinayin, thanked God for using the US-based philanthropist and others to alleviate the suffering of the parents through different assistance rendered all times.
He prayed that God almighty will continue to bless the alma mater association and the school.
