My dear friends, readers and followers on this platform, my focus this time around is meant for the ears and eyes of all prominent sons and daughters of our fatherland who fled the land in the wake of the senseless and strange evil spirit that was imported from other climes into our fatherland that gave our elites to the world.

I want to inform them and their children in Dubai and other cities overseas that relative peace and normalcy has returned to our fractured communities that cut across all the five local government of Kogi central.

Let’s give thanks and gratitude to our able and peace loving performing governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, that young chap derided and scorned as a governor is gradually turning Ebiraland to a secured and peaceful community for all well-meaning sons and daughters of Kogi central to dwell and live peacefully so that they can contribute their quotas in the right direction to uplift and birth a new dawn and Eldorado as witnessed in foreign lands.

I, Otori Ozigi, who chose to return home from my secured and comfortable zone in the “State of Excellence ” when the entire Ebiraland was gripped in a miasma of senseless and worrisome dance of deaths and sorrows.

Recall that when I returned home to serve my fatherland ten years ago, it was only our beloved and easy going paramount traditional ruler, Dr Ado Ibrahim, that I met together with the five Ohis and other high chiefs that were left behind to try and bring normalcy to our hitherto peaceful and secured community.

Let me graciously inform them that they can return home now with all their loved ones and aged parents living with them in luxury and comfort in diaspora.

The last time I checked though my eagle eyes, I counted no fewer than eighty professors and countless prominent Ebira sons and daughters that have not return home to drink water from our wells and rivers being drank daily by those of us abandoned because we are poor and famished and unable to take a flight from our fatherland.

Let me inform them because I know they are too detached from the real situation in the land that our son, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has awarded contracts to reputable firms to bring portable water to all the nooks and cranny of our beloved fatherland.

If you don’t know, I, Otori Ozigi, a citizen journalist have worked round across the major towns and villages in Kogi central and can confirm authoritatively that our landscape, particularly our roads, are now motorable across the entire land.

In conclusion therefore, I want to call on all ebira sons and daughters living in diaspora to come home and celebrate their Christmas and new year for the first time in their entire life in the land of honour, valour and dignity called Ebiraland.

Please come back home and spend your time with us at least for the first time in your entire life. I wish you journey mercy in advance.
