Premier socio-political and community advocacy organization in Kogi West, Igbimo Atuluse, has expressed its profound appreciation to Dr. Idris Rufus Oluwafemi, popularly known as IDRUFEM, following his official consultative visit to the group’s headquarters on Thursday, October 1, 2026.
Dr. Oluwafemi, who is standard-bearer of the African Democratic Congress for the Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 general elections, engaged the leadership and members of the group in a robust interactive session centered on the development and future trajectory of the federal constituency.
During the high-level engagement, the ADC flagbearer outlined his legislative vision while addressing critical issues confronting the constituency, including persistent security concerns, widespread youth unemployment, infrastructure deficits, healthcare delivery, and sustainable economic growth across Okun Land.

Reacting to the visit, President of Igbimo Atuluse, Hon. Barrister Segun Modeyin, who also serves as Director of Legal Services at Kogi State University, Kabba, commended the candidate for his humility, accessibility, and commitment to inclusive governance through direct grassroots consultation.
Modeyin revealed that Dr. Oluwafemi officially accepted the group’s invitation to participate in the upcoming Political Debates and Manifesto Night, an initiative organized by Igbimo Atuluse to afford all parliamentary candidates across political parties—including the APC, ADC, SDP, and PDP—an equal platform to present their programs to the electorate.
The group reaffirmed its status as a non-partisan, non-profit community development organization dedicated to civic accountability, traditional institution synergy, and grassroots watchdog advocacy across Kabba, Iluke-Bunu, Aiyegunle Igun, and the broader Kogi West district, while wishing the candidate success in his ongoing campaign efforts.
