All roads lead to Ayetoro Gbede, Ijumu local government area of Kogi State for the final burial and outing service of the mother of the community paramount ruler, the Olu of Ayetoro Gbede, Kabiyesi Alayeluwa, Oba Sunday David Ehindero.
The monarch’s mother, Yeye Oba Comfort Omojolagbe Ehindero passed unto the realm of glory beyond on Monday 21st January 2019 at her residence Otun Quarters, Ayetoro Gbede.
In a press statement by the Secretary of the community’s Oba in Council, Chief Elega Femi Ajayi revealed the corpse will on the 19th April, 2019 leave General Hospital Ayetoro Gbede at 2.00 pm to Ijumu Local Government Education Authority (ILGEA) primary school, opposite late Olujumu Owonibi’s house, Otun Quarters where lying in state and Christian Wake Keep will hold.
Chief Ajayi said that on the 20th April 2019, outing and thanksgiving service will hold at 1st Baptist Church, Ayetoro Gbede at 10.00 am. Reception will hold immediately. after the church service at Baptist 1 ILGEA field, Ayetoro Gbede.
Meanwhile, the people of Ayetoro Gedde have commiserated with the community paramount ruler on the glorious exist of Yeye Oba Comfort Ehindero.
This was contained in a statement issued on behalf of the community’s apex socio-cultural organisation, Ayetoro Gbede Development Association (AGDA) worldwide by its National Public Relations Officer, Mr Samuel Aladuge.
He said; “on behalf of the National President of AGDA worldwide’s executive council and the good people of Ayetoro Gbede at home and in the diaspora wish to commiserate with Kabiyesi Alayeluwa, Oba David Sunday Ehindero on the glorious exit of his beloved mother, Mrs Comfort Omojolagbe Ehindero”.
He described her as a quintessential, caring, hardworking and God fearing mother. He prayed God to give the monarch the fortitude to bear the loss and God to grant her eternal rest.
