In view of the growing insecurity in Kogi East and Anyigba in particular, it is time to renew our call on the state government to fulfill the promise made to build an Army Barracks at Agbeji, Dekina local government without further delay.

We have seen such construction in the central senatorial district of the state, and the Mobile police bases in both the west and the central parts of the state.

The Naval outpost in Idah is not enough, and can’t cover the entire District because of the size.

We must do the needful as quick as possible, as a stitch in time, saves nine.
