1.Mercy Johson-Okojie

 

Mercy Johnson-Okojie is one of the finest Nollywood actress who hails from Okene in Kogi State. She was born in Lagos and had her primary education in Calabar. She was recently appointed as Senior Special Assistance on Entertainment, Arts and Culture by the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello

2. Jaywon

Iledare Oluwajuwonlo better known by his stage name as Jaywon, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, performer, producer and actor from Kogi state.

Jaywon completed his primary education at ECWA Primary School then went on to fulfill his high school at Government Secondary School in Kogi State before graduating with HND honours in Account from Federal Polytechnic, Bida.

3. Praiz

Praiz, a native of Igala in Kogi State was born in Lagos but later relocated to Kaduna in 1992 after his father was transferred there on a missionary work.  He has a National Diploma in Computer Science after graduating from Kaduna Polytechnic.

4. YQ

Yakub Jubril, also known as YQ  is a singer, and the dominant in his sound are R&B, reggae and soul. He blends them all smoothly, before adding a pinch of Yoruba flavor.

5. Tunde Ednut

Tunde Ednut is a Comedian and a musician based in UK, London to be precise, he is from Kogi State. He Grew up in the North (Katsina State) and then moved to Lagos in the early 90s. He attended Federal Government College Ugwolawo, Kogi State and then graduated at  University  of Lagos.

6. Halima Abubakar

Halima Abubakar is an award winning Nollywood actress. The Ebira born spent her early years in Kano State, she is one of Nigeria’s finest acting talents. Halimah had her BSc in sociology at  Bayero University Kano.
