Reports emanating from the Kogi West Senatorial District show that major political bigwigs have withdrawn their support for Alhaji Abdulrazaq Isa Kutepa, one of the PDP Governorship aspirants, and have subsequently, declared support for another of the party’s candidates, Alhaji Ibrahim Isa.
According to an impeccable source, Kutepa no longer enjoys the support of the Okun speaking people.
Meanwhile, Hon. Tom Zakari of the Federal House of Representatives, representing Dekina/Bassa Federal constituency had annouced that all the federal Legislators in the state, including Senator Smart Adeyemi (Kogi West senatorial District) have pitched their tents with Alhaji Isa.
This turn-around, it was gathered, has been strongly influenced by the fact that Kutepa hails from Bassa, which is in the Kogi East Senatorial District.
Our sources who pleaded for anonimity stated that, Kutepa will be a clog in the wheel of the power shift agenda, and the eventual slot of Kogi West will be significantly undermined if he becomes the governor.
However, Okun land leaders are said to be strategizing on a new plot to actualize their sectorian governorhip agenda, going forward.
