All roads led to the national secretariat of the APC in Wuse II, Abuja, on Wednesday, 14 October 2015, as the Kogi state gubernatorial campaign was formally inaugurated.
There had previously been speculation about the eligibility of the APC candidate, Prince Abubakar Audu, to contest the election by virtue of his being a member of the party’s Board of Trustees; with the formal inauguration officially held within the premises of the party headquarters, these rumours and speculations have effectively been put to rest.
In attendance were governors of some APC states, members of the party’s National Working Committee and other key party faithfuls from Kogi state. The campaign schedule has also been released, with rallies scheduled to hold in all Local Government Areas of the state.
