Kogi Speaker Charges Ebira Tao Action Group to Promote Peace

Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Matthew Kolawole has charged Ebira Toa Action Group, Lokoja to continue to promote peace among their kinsmen and the State at large.
Kolawole made this remark when the group paid him a courtesy visit at the assembly complex in appreciation of his support for the New Direction Team, led by Governor Yahaya Bello.
The Speaker, while giving his speech, said he as an advocate of good governance is doing all he could for the development of Kogi State by supporting the Executive arm of government.
He charged the entire Ebira People and Kogi State to support the Governor as Kogi West is doing all they could and they won’t stop supporting him.
He said the 6th Assembly under his watch would continue to provide the enabling environment for the robust collaboration between the two arms of government in the state in order to move the state forward.
Earlier, the President of the group and leader of the delegation, Hon. Mudasiru Anate Bello while giving his Speech said; “Our Singular aim on this visit is to come and say thank you”.
According to him, the group has been following the activities of the Speaker since he was elected as the 12th Speaker of the assembly last year, noting that his leadership has brought peace back to the House which provides the opportunity for the Executive to move well.
The Secretary, Mrs. S.A Bello in her closing remark appreciates the Speaker for receiving them noting that they are aware of his good works and that of the entire 6th Assembly.
