G4 Media Honours Kogi Speaker, Two Others

Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mathew Kolawole has been honoured by the G4Media Network with an award of excellence in leadership performances and impact in youth development.
According to the leader of the delegation, Mr. Emmanuel Stephen, the award was in recognition of Kolawole’s leadership achievements in youth empowerment and human capacity development.
He further explained that G4 Media Network Limited is a group of reputable media houses that operate both in Nigeria and other countries across the world, stressing that they are in the business of projecting individual, group and corporate organizations who are doing well in contributing to the development of humanity.
Chairman of G4 Media, while pouring encomium on the Speaker, said his record breaking activities is observed everywhere in Nigeria and the world.
Other awardees are the Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Hassan Abdullahi who earned award of excellence accompanied with certificate of commendation in leadership and value to humanity in recognition of his leadership support, youth empowerment and humanitarian services.
The Majority Leader, Hon. Bello Hassan Abdullahi Balogun was also not left out as he was conferred with an award of excellence, accompanied with certificate of commendation in leadership performance and youth defence.
He said the awards are in recognition of his performance on the floor of the Assembly and life touching projects.
Ambassador Michael Friday also earned award of excellence cum certificate of commendation in national impact and invention to the world in recognition of his historic invention as Nigerian world record breaker, humanitarian services and promotion of indigenous ‘made in Nigeria product’.
The Speaker, while giving his remark appreciated the gesture shown to him, he also itemized few of his achievements, saying he is only challenged and encouraged to do more.
He went ahead to charge the G4 Media Network Limited to go on a campaign for Youth Development.
The Deputy Speaker while giving a goodwill message appreciates the organization for finding him worthy, he said he is going to have constituency projects commissioning in about 9 days empowering 508 Youths.
He also said the only way to manage crime is to get the Youths busy.
The Majority Leader who delivered the closing remark during the award giving ceremony expressed shock and gratitude to the G4 Media, saying this will spur him to do more.
He added he has decided to do his own thing differently from the old order that dragged Nigeria and Kogi State backwards. He encouraged G4 Media to do more.
Ambassador Michael Friday expressed joy while giving his acceptance speech said his hope gets stronger having met the leaders of the 6th Assembly.
He also congratulate the G4 Media and encouraged them to do more, expressing hope for a better Nigeria.
He described Kogi State challenges as too much responsibilities and limited resources to cater for them.
The Speaker was also given an Award for Excellence as Okun Leader of the the Year 2018 from the office of Miss Okun, Comrade Joseph Olubunmi, National Association of Okun Students (NAOS) Kogi State University, Anyigba.
