In conformity with the mandate of Table Shakers Association of Nigeria (TSAN), Kogi State Chapter to keep those in authority on their toes, the focus is on Kogi State Ministry of Agriculture.
For the avoidance of doubt, lapses in service delivery and performance will be exposed with suggestions for improvement. But in instances where productivity is exemplary, we shall equally showcase to encourage and avail Kogites the opportunities they can benefit from.
Kogi State Ministry of Agriculture under the leadership of Hon. Kehinde Oloruntoba has set itself apart in terms of sterling performance that has prompted TSAN to showcase its activities.
The ministry has projected the New Direction government in a positive light considering its numerous programs and the way it has impacted on the lives of the people, particularly farmers.
It’s the candid opinion of TSAN that if other MDAs and those at the helm of their affairs will emulate Ministry of Agriculture, not only will governance be responsible and responsive, the negative perception of government activities, policies and programs will definitely change.
The Ministry has brought total transformation by keying into every scheme that has attracted aids and grants to farmers with fishery, rice, vegetables and cassava production being enhanced.
TSAN is left with no option other than to commend Kogi State Ministry of Agriculture and admonishes it to not only sustain the tempo but ensure more Kogites benefit from all its programs for increased production and enhanced internally generated revenue for the State.
