Kogi Central Senate: EI-Birru Muslim Association of Nigeria Declares Support for Engr Ohere

The popular El-Birru Muslim Association of Nigeria (EMAN) have endorsed the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming Kogi Central senatorial elections, Engr. Abubakar Sadiku Ohere.

The Islamic group led by their National Ameer, Arc. Abdulyekeen Mamman in the company of other executives made this known during a courtesy visit to the candidate at his residence in Abuja. 

The group leader said the visit has become pertinent so they can use the opportunity to appreciate Governor Yahaya Bello for his good work in Kogi State and also commend the Kogi Central APC senatorial candidate for making use of the opportunity given to him to serve the people of the State diligently while serving as Commissioner for Ministry of Local Government & Chieftaincy Affairs and also for Ministry of Works and Housing.

The group described Engr. Abubakar Sadiku Ohere as a Godly Politician with track records in the public service having distinguished himself while discharging his duties as directed by his principal with the fear of God.

“We appreciate His Excellency, the Executive Goveror of Kogi State who spotted you out and appointed you to serve as one time Commissioner of Local Government, then for Works in Kogi State and thereafter your emergence as a candidate for Kogi Central Senatorial District through the ruling party APC, Alhamdulillahi.

“It is our prayers, after your foot print as dual Commissioner of Local government as well as Works that your joining the upper legislative chamber of National Assembly will usher in far-reaching and positive changes that will enhance synergy among other legislators towards changing the narrative for better in our dear land and the nation as your wealth of experience, wisdom, intellectual capacity and Leadership qualities will be mostly brought to bear,” Arc. Abdulyekeen said. 

The group further endorsed the candidate and prayed for his successful emergence as Senator representing Kogi Central senatorial district in the forthcoming general election 

In response, Engr. Ohere expressed gratitude to the group for the visit, applauded their efforts towards the growth of Ebiraland and enjoined them to keep praying for the peaceful coexistence of the land.

He assured them of credible and effective representation when voted into the senate by the grace of God.
