The Iyara Development Association (IDA) has mourned the death of Chairman of Kewon Hotel, Chief Samuel Osatuyi who died at the late hours of Sunday, February 6th 2022.
A statement by the National President of IDA, Alhaji Aliyu Badaki condoled with the entire Osatuyi family, saying the community has lost a rare gem, bridge builder and a pace setter.
According to the National President, the deceased was a lover of his community and the state particularly, being one of the foremost Kogites to invest an hotel in Lokoja the state capital.
He stated that as a founding member of Iyara Development Association, Chief Osatuyi committed resources, time and intellectual capacity to contribute to self community development which Iyara is known for.
Alhaji Aliyu Badaki told the family to be consoled in the fact that their late father lived a fulfilled life worthy of emulation as his legacies remain unmatchable in the area of education, religious harmony just to mention a few.
He prayed God to grant him eternal rest and the entire family as well as Iyara community the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
