Honourable Umar Abutu Omar, Convener of the Peer to Peer Campaign for Tinubu/Shettima 2027 and National Coordinator of the National Movement for Good Leadership, has called for widespread, collective support to secure the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima in the 2027 presidential polls.

Speaking on the imperative of political continuity, Omar noted that the present administration has laid a solid foundation for long-term economic growth, infrastructural expansion, and human capital development across various sectors of the nation.

Addressing supporters, Omar emphasized that sentiment should have no place in evaluating the current government, arguing that the administration has demonstrated genuine commitment to all-round national development.

“It is important I let us know that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has taken serious courage to right some wrongs in the general interest of the Nigerian people.

“Although the administration may not be perfect, just as no one is perfect, the President has so far taken practical steps to reposition the economy, particularly on fuel subsidy, the long impact would be more beneficial. Supporting his re-election is essential for consolidation and continuity,” Omar said.

Omar made a direct appeal to the northern populace, urging the region to rally behind President Tinubu in recognition of his dedication to national growth and structural transformation.

Omar, who hails from Dekina Local Government Area, also urged the people of Kogi State to maintain resolute support for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). He assured residents that the state stands to gain significantly from the continued policies and programs of the administration.
