Ijumu Student Union Bemoans Killing of Kinsmen in Kogi Varsity

Ijumu Students Union has called for investigation into the killing of her members in Kogi State University, Anyigba.

In a press statement signed by the National President, Rachael Moji Balogun, the Union decried the killing of two Ijumu sons schooling in the State University.

Balogun called for the arrest of those behind the murder.

“With a heavy heart I announce the murder of two Ijumu sons schooling in Kogi State University Anyigba, Mr Oloruntoba Godwin, a 300 level student of Geography and Mr Ajileye Richard, a 200 level student in the department of Accountancy.

“This is condemnable! We demand immediate arrest, investigation and prosecution of the criminals behind the murder.

“I urge Ijumu Students in Kogi State University not to take laws into their hands, rather, they should liaise with the local chapter president, Olujumu K.S.U chapter, in taking any decision in regard to this menace,” she said.

Balogun appealed to students of Ijumu extraction not to allow themselves to be used  to perpetrate criminal acts of any kind.

“Ijumu is know for the virtue of Omoluabi, let it be your guide always.”
