Gov Wada Denies Role in Kidnap of Prince Abubakar Audu’s Brother

Governor Idris Wada of Kogi State has distanced himself from allegation over the kidnap of one, Alhaji Ibrahim Audu.

The Kogi State governor refuted the claim of the former Governor of the state, Prince Abubakar Audu, that the Kidnap of his brother, was politically motivated and orchestrated by his administration.

Captain Wada speaking through his Special Adviser on Media and Strategy, Mr Jacob Edi, said while the government sympathizes with Abubakar Audu’s family, over the unfortunate incidence, it categorically wished to dispel any notion that it is politically motivated.

The former Governor of Kogi State, Prince Abubakar Audu’s brother was kidnapped on Monday at gunpoint by unknown gunmen at his home in Aloma, Ofu local Government Area of the state.

We understand the whereabouts of the said kidnapped victim still remain unknown.
