Gov. Bello, Senator Oseni, Pius Kolawole Commiserates With State’s Accountant General Over Mother’s Demise

Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello has commiserated with the Accountant General of Kogi State, Hon. Jibrin Momoh and the entire Momoh family over the death of his mother, Hajia Hajara Momoh who died on Thursday at the age of 78.

Reacting to the sad news, Governor Bello in a letter of condolence signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Muhammed Onogwu described the death of a mother as a sorrowful experience which cuts deep into the heart.

The Governor said that although mama lived a very fulfilled life, it would still be painful, knowing that one could no longer share her physical company, wise counselling and prayers but only just memories adding that death was surely an inevitable destiny of every human.

He attested that Hajia Momoh dedicated her life as a woman of virtue, a prayerful mother and dedicated wife whose interest was solely to raising her children to become useful and responsible contributors to the society.

Governor Bello asserted that it was obvious that Hajiya succeeded in her earthly assignment seeing the quality of children she had raised and also that Mama lived a life that touched other’s positively 

While praying to God to grant the repose of Hajiya Momoh eternal rest, he also asked God to give those grieving over her passing the fortitude to bear the loss.

Also, the Senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, Senator Yakubu Oseni has commiserated with the family of Kogi State Accountant-General, Alhaji Jibril Momoh over the sudden death of his mother.

Senator Oseni while in a condolence message described her death as a rude shock noted that Late Hajarat Momoh has ever been a peace loving mother whose traits have been expressly demonstrated in his son, Alhaji Jibril Momoh.

“Death has once again robbed us of one of our sources of wisdom and embodiment of impeccable character in the person of Late Hajia Hajarat Momoh, the mother of the Accountan-General of Kogi State, Alhaji Jibril Momoh.

“Our mother was peace loving, compassionate and highly dedicated to the course of humanitarian services. We will surely miss her guidance and sound advice “, he said.

While calling on Alhaji Jibril Momoh and other family members to take solace in the fact that Late Hajia Hajarat lived a life worthy of emulation, Senator Oseni prayed that Allah grants her eternal rest.

“We all came from God and to Him we shall return, and we can’t question Him whenever He calls anybody to be with Him. May Almighty Allah forgive her shortcomings and grant her Aljannah Firdaus,” he prayed.

In the same vein, the Executive Chairman of Yagba West LGA, Hon. Pius Kolawole has condoled with the Accountant General of Kogi State and his family on the shocking news of the demise of his mother.

The council boss said “it was with heavy heart but total submission to the Almighty God that the people of Yagba West received the news of the passing on to glory of the family Matriarch, Alhaja Hajara Momoh.

“Mama was a mother in a million, a wonderful and loving mother who took everyone as her children.”

The Executive Chairman said mama would be greatly missed by all. But admonished the family to take solace in the fact that mama lived a good live and left behind good legacies for the children.

Hon. Pius described Mama’s death as a great loss not only to Alhaji Jibrin Momoh and his family but the entire Kogi State.

“Mama was a mother in a million, a wonderful and loving mother who took everyone as her children.

“May Allah rests her soul in peace and guide her path in Jannah,” he prayed.
