Former minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has demanded for explanation on why Acting President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo has not sworn-in new ministers.
Osinbajo has repeatedly failed to swear in two confirmed Ministers, Stephen Ocheni (Kogi) and Suleiman Hassan (Gombe).
Ministers are usually sworn in and assigned portfolios a week after their confirmation by the upper legislative chamber.
Reacting, however, Fani-Kayode in a post on his Facebook, said it was high time the people knew what has been stopping the Acting President from exercising his power.
He wrote, “Why has Acting President Osinbajo not been allowed to swear in the new Ministers that were cleared by the Senate? Who is stopping him?
