Family of Relieved Accident Victim Pays Appreciation Visit to Hon. Rabiu Alfa

In an emotional show at the Enabo country home of the honorable member representing Ankpa 2 constituency at the Kogi State House of Assembly, Alhaji Alfa Momoh Rabiu, the immediate family of an estranged accident victim (Hafsatu Ibola) who was recently discharged after the intervention of the former came to say thank you for what the family described as out of human possibility.
While introducing the visitors who came from Odobi on a thank you mission, speaking on behalf of the family, Mallam Abubakar Abdullahi first prayed for the deceased mother of the people’s honorable noting that the birth of Hon Rabiu is indeed a blessing to humanity and may it’s reward be a source of comfort for his mother who was already resting with the lord.
Speaking further, he admired Hon Rabiu’s attitude of spending all weekends at home with his constituents describing it as the reason for which they decided to pay the thank you visit at Enabo as he could be busy with legislative duties should they go to Lokoja during the week.
In her own gratitude, Hafsatu who was visibly recovering despite been in tears of joy for the first time narrated her ordeal as much as she could remember and then asked that special prayers be offered for Hon Rabiu and his wife who she confessed kept checking on her with financial gestures at post event of Hon Rabiu’s helping hand.
Another family member who spoke observed that if not for mobility and cost implications, the family up to it’s extensions would have all come to meet the “messiah” of their sister while he was recalling how the family almost lost hope of the victims survival.
He further recalled that their daughter had accident three years ago and was taken to from branch to Bethel hospital in Ankpa, from Bethel hospital Ankpa to Specialist hospital Lokoja before been finally taken to FMC Lokoja all on as a result of refer.
Earlier, another constituent, Yahaya who hails from the same community(Odobi) that had come checking on Hon Rabiu burst into tears upon hearing the narratives and regretted having not known or heard of the incident all the while.
In his usual way, Hon Rabiu Alfa after thanking the visitors for knowing and obviously appreciating good described the visit as unnecessary on the grounds that whatever he does is for the sake of God and human benefits maintaining his creed of belonging to the good people of Enjema and Ojoku for as long as their mandate remain with him.
