Rector, Kogi State Polytechnic, Chief Salisu Ogbo Usman (PhD) has congratulated Christian faithful on the occasion of this year’s Easter celebration.

In a goodwill message he personally signed, Dr. Salisu noted that the humble birth of Jesus Christ, His teachings, travails and death are a testimony to the fact that there is a season for everything, and that whatever we do would serve as reference after our passage.

“I would, therefore, like to enjoin us to, in conformity with Christ’s teachings, be submissive to God Almighty, radiate love, peace and humility.

“In the midst the festivity, we owe the body of Christ the responsibility to be a source of love and happiness to the less privileged and the needy in our society, and avoid divisive and destructive tendencies,” he admonished.

Dr. Salisu urged Christians to take advantage of this auspicious occasion to pray for the advancement of Kogi State Polytechnic, Kogi State and Nigeria as a whole, so as to ensure prosperity for all.
