The former speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly and member representing Okene II in the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Momoh Jimoh Lawal has described the death of Senator Salihu Ohize as a Colossal loss to Ebira land, Kogi State and the country.
Jimoh Lawal noted that during his life-time, the late Senator Ohize worked for the unity, progress and development of Ebira land and Kogi State in general.
“As a former Chairman of Okene Local Government Area, Senator Ohize brought his wealth of experience to bear in the development of the area and fought for peace and unity of his people”, he said.
Jimoh Lawal who condoled with his immediate family, Ebira land and the state, prayed Allah to give his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
