Central Senatorial District Will Produce SSG – Gov Wada

Kogi State Governor Idris Wada has assured the good people people of Kogi Central Senatorial district that he would pick the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) from their zone.

The present political configuration placed the central district in a pole position to clinch the top job. The governor is from eastern flank while his deputy is from the west. The traditional distribution of positions in Kogi State from its inception zone the positions of SSG and Speaker of the House of Assembly to the flank different from the ones that produced governor and deputy governor.

A former deputy governor of the state during Prince Audu’s tenure, Mr. Patrick Adaba led a delegation from the central senatorial district on a courtesy call to governor Wada at the Government House.

Captain Idris, who commended the people of the senatorial district for their role during the governorship election posited that “without mincing words, the position of SSG will go to the district.”

He promised to run an open-door policy in which the people would be involved in the governance of the state.
