The executive governor of Kogi State, Captain Idris Wada has expressed worries about the activities of thugs in Kogi State.
While addressing members of his party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Kogi State chapter, at Government House, he said his administration would not allow thugs to thrive in the state.
According to him, the activities of thugs in the state constitute an embarrassment to the people.
He, therefore, urged the party members to join hands with him to eliminate thuggery in the state.
The governor further remarked that if there was going to be meaningful development in the state, they must depart from the old ways of running government.
