The Vice-Chancellor of Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), Anyigba, Professor Salisu Ogbo Usman, has extended warm felicitations to his immediate predecessor, Professor Marietu Ohunene Tenuche, on the occasion of her birthday celebration.
In an official statement issued on behalf of the institution’s Governing Council, Management, Academic Board, staff, and students, Professor Usman described the former Vice-Chancellor as a mother, mentor, and inspiration to many within and beyond the university system.
The Vice-Chancellor extolled Professor Tenuche’s tenure at the helm of the university, noting that her leadership was defined by remarkable achievements, visionary guidance, and enduring contributions toward the development of PAAU. He highlighted that her dedication to academic excellence left an indelible mark on the institution.
While celebrating her legacy of selfless service, Professor Usman offered prayers for the former head of the institution, asking Almighty Allah to grant her long life, good health, wisdom, and renewed strength for the years ahead.
