This is to appreciate God and Kabba/Bunu Constituents for reelecting Rt. Hon. (Prince) M.O. Kolawole for another term in office.
Kolawole, with the help of God achieved feats that is untraditional in Legislative Houses around the world – as a first termer, he became the House Leader while in opposition political party, defected to the ruling party, retained his seat as the House Leader and subsequently became the Speaker of the House.
NOTE: He defected because the political party with which he got the mandate was then, in a concentrated factional crisis and he had to be on the side of the ruling political party in order to bring home democratic dividends for his constituents.
All thanks to the effervescent and phenomenal Governor Yahaya Bello on whose back Kolawole rode to be Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, he was able to lead Kogi 6th Assembly to sterling and meritorious legislation, where all members were able to impact the State and their respective constituencies meaningfully.
Several economy enhancing and jobs providing motions were moved and bills signed into law under his watch.
As Speaker, with supports from other distinguished members and the Executive Arm, Kolawole was able to whether the storm of periodic political crisis in the legislature. He was also able to influence developmental projects to all the 25 Constituencies in the State Budgets he has legislated so far.
It is on the lips of all Kabba/Bunu Constituents that, there has never been a public office holder, elected or appointed in history that have been this impactful to them. From the elites to the lower class, politicians across party lines, traditional rulers, business people, professionals, petty traders, farmers, men, market women; the aged, youths, students, apprentices, indigenes, non-indigenes; they all felt Kolawole’s manifestations.
It is also a testimony from the Executive Arm of Government that Kolawole enhanced a robust relationship with the Legislative Arm for easy and smooth governance.
Kolawole is worthy of reelection.
