He described the late Elejiba as a colossus, courageous, forthright and honest leader who gave his best in the service to his people and humanity to the admiration of all.

“Late Oba Samuel Bayode Olamojin was a highly intelligent and respected member of Yagba West Traditional Council and Yagba West Security Council whose  wisdom and experience is highly appreciated and coveted.

“He was a loving father who does not discriminate, but sees and willing to accept everybody as his own.

“He was no doubt an administrator of great repute who consistently strived for excellence with immense desire to do justice. He was highly cerebral with a huge leadership capacity,” he said.

Kolawole lamented that the monarch passed on at a time his wisdom and fatherly counsels are most needed by the people of Yagba West Local Government and Kogi State in general, adding that he took solace in the fact that the late traditional ruler lived a fulfilled life and left behind good legacies.
