Group Calls on Senator Oseni to Re-contest in 2023

A group of young people under the umbrella of ‘Senator Oseni Support Organization’ (SOSO) has called on the senator representing Kogi Central senatorial district, Senator Yakubu Oseni to re-contest for senate in the next year senatorial election.

The group, in a communiqué jointly signed by their president, Comrade James Mohammed, and the Secretary-general, Comrade Arongwu Adams, said the call came “in reaction to the tremendous achievements of Senator Oseni within the space of three years in office.”

They extolled the senator for his effective representation and concerns for the downtrodden.

According to the communique, the call on the Senator to recontest is as a result of his unprecedented records so far in the red chamber.

The group highlighted several achievements of the Senator ranging from youth and women empowerment to rapid infrastructural development.

The group also appreciated the senator for giving priority to education by building and renovating blocks of classrooms as well as digitalizing learning across schools in Kogi Central, adding that they are not unaware of the ongoing construction of JAMB CBT Centre in Agassa which was duly facilitated by the Senator.

The group therefore urged the Senator to continue to hold his people to utmost priority and declared their unwavering support for the presidential ambition of Governor Yahaya Bello.

While the group commend the Senator for always being there for the people of Kogi Central, they also urged him never to allow the naysayers distract him.
