A front line House of Assembly aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Umar Yahaya has described the victory of the APC candidate in the just concluded Lokoja-Kogi House of Representatives bye election as an indication that the party is loved in the state.
Umar, eyeing Omala constituency seat in the Kogi State House of Assembly, congratulated Gov. Yahaya Bello for making the APC the party to beat. He thanked the governor for his moral support in making the victory possible.
Umar Yahaya felicitated with Hon. Haruna Isah, the winner of the bye election, urging him to strive in the footsteps of Gov. Bello and make impact in the lives of the people.
The aspirant assured that the APC would remain the winning party in the state most especially in Omala LGA, stating that the APC has no rival in his constituency.
He assured that if elected he would make the welfare of his people paramount, assuring that women and youth development would be his priority in lawmaking.
He congratulated the people of Lokoja-Kogi federal constituency for making the bye election free from violence.
