Hassan Omale Flags Off Ojiaji Bridge in Omala

The member representing Ankpa-Omala-Olamaboro in the House of Representatives, Honourable Hassan Omale in fulfilment of one of his campaign promises to his constituents flagged off the construction of Ojiaji bridge in Ogodu, Omala local government.

 

The federal lawmaker was accompanied to the venue by the Chairman APC Ankpa local government, Alhaji Khamilu, Hon Yusuf Omale former  Chairman Ankpa local Government, Ankpa APC leaders Major Idris Adejo (Rtd), Alhaji Saidu Odoma, APC women leader Ankpa local Government Hajiya Maryam, APC stalwart Alhaji Tijjani Ishiaka, religious leaders, well wishers and party faithfuls.

 

The August visitors were received at Ojiaji by a mammoth crowd of joyful residents under the leadership of the chairman APC Omalla Local Government Alhaji Danjuma Baba, the traditional  leader of Ojiaji (Onu Ojiaji) traditionally known as Kpaleko, Reuben Daudu and other well wishers.

 

After an adoration to the Almighty Lord for making all see such a day, the host “Kpaleko” in his welcome address thanked Honourable Hassan Omale for considering their community worthy of benefitting from such an impactful project.

 

He said various representative have come and gone and the only time they are remembered is during electioneering campaign.

 

He added that the bridge has always been a nightmare as the rainy season always makes it difficult for them to go in and out of their community.

 

He said the visit of Honourable Hassan Omale to that community alone has proven that he is a man who has the interest of the down trodden at heart.

 

He prayed God to elevate thier August visitor to an unimaginable heigh in life.

 

The APC Chairman, Ankpa Local Government, Alhaji Khamilu eulogised the Honourable member after which he took all present down memory line by mentioning all that was done by the previous occupants of the office of House of Representatives of Ankpa, Omalla and Olamaboro.

 

He said APC might like every other party also have its internal crises but the performance of Honourable Omale makes APC a party to cling on to.

 

The Chairman further encouraged the Member to do more as his second coming is as sure as that of Jesus Christ beacause of his good work.

The APC  Chairman Omalla local Government, Mr Danjuma Baba, in his remarks, thanked the Federal lawmaker and confessed that they never had it this good.
He encouraged the legislator to remain focused and steadfast in delivering the dividends of democracy to his people.
Danjuma Baba said emphatically that honourable Hassan Omale remains thier candidate for the next elections because he has been tested and he has delivered.
Responding to all the eulogies the legislator thanked all that had abandoned their very important schedules and comfort of their homes to make the programme a success.
He called on every member of Ojaji community to take ownership of the project and ensure that the contractor does a very good job.
He advised them to be accommodating to the contractors to enable the projects completion at the appropriate minimal time.
The highpoint of the event was the announcement and presentation of an unexpected A – level scholarship to 100 undergraduates and secondary school leavers of the three local governments in the Federal constituency by the legislator.
While making the presentation, a chieftain of the APC, Alhaji Saidu Odoma told the Omala APC Chairman to make sure that the beneficiaries of the scholarship are people who are economically challenged.
He reiterated the fact that such a gesture won’t have any impact if children of the privilege are eventually chosen.
The pinnacle of the event was the flag off of the construction of the bridge for the benefit of the people of Ojiaji and humanity in general.
The vote of thanks was delivered on behalf of the Ojiaji community by Mr Reuben Odaudu. He thanked the legislator and assured him that he should consider their community as his support base come 2019.
