Millennium Christian Ministry, My Father’s House, Lokoja has vowed to criss-cross the 21 Local Governments of Kogi State by 2018 to sensitize the electorates against bad leaders.

Speaking against the backdrop of the present economic situation in the country, Pastor Ayo Adun challenged the people to stop looking at economic policies and focus on God who is the provider.

“We are looking at the Government too much and that is why things are failing and God says I wouldn’t share my glory with anybody until they know that I am the source.

“We are to start a campaign by 2018 which will cut across the 21 Local Government of the State and I am embarking on the project called ‘Rebirth Kogi’ because Kogi needs to be reborn and when it is reborn with the power of God it means God is the answer because the power of God in their lives can sustain them.

Adun said they would be telling the electorates to only vote for leaders that believe in God, practice what they believe in not just those they call Christians or Muslims by name because they go to church or mosque.

He said those that practice what they profess and actually live it out would be the ones to lead the State.

Pastor Adun indicated that a lot of Nigerians were losing hope in the country because things are difficult for them.

He said, “Jesus healed with divine power, Jesus also ministered to them physically. Jesus has come here today as a day of Hope that people should not see negativity concerning Nigeria because Jesus is still real.

He asked people to understand that it is only God that can change the situation if they embrace him and his ways.

He spoke about Manasseh who God asked to repent from his evil ways and when he took the instructions of God, God forgave him and God began to do things right in the land.

“If Nigerians embrace the standards of God he will forgive the land and begin to bless the land again. No leader can change this land without the help of God.”

He said the materials in food, clothing and drugs were brought in by people from within and outside the State adding that Muslims were among the contributors.

“I am going to go round and we would do the feeding in all the 21 Local Government. We did not pay for this one and that is what God can do for you when you trust him.

It was free for all celebration in Lokoja the Kogi State capital as many less privileged citizens gathered at the old Stadium at the heart of Lokoja to celebrate with Pastor Ayo Adun of the Millennium Christian Ministry, My Father’s House, Lokoja where everyone present ate to his or her fill.

Raw foodstuffs and clothings were also distributed to the people after the program, including textbooks and free medical tests.

Many of the beneficiaries commended the pastor for re enacting the feeding of the multitude by Jesus when he saw that the people were hungry.
